The client wanted a completely unobstructed view and a deck that required zero maintenance, even with glass railings. Every design choice focused on maximizing sightlines and minimizing upkeep.
AZEK Coastline decking with a Dark Hickory border created a striking contrast while ensuring long-term durability. To achieve the cleanest view possible, we used LVL beams to extend framing spans and reduce the number of support posts on one side of the deck. Crystal Rail’s ⅜” thick glass panels, coated for easy cleaning, delivered the seamless, modern aesthetic the client wanted.
Trex RainEscape kept the space below the deck completely dry, and aluminum panels provided a finished ceiling for a polished look. County Grand Discover pavers completed the patio, tying everything together. The result was an elegant, low-maintenance outdoor space unlike anything else in the neighborhood.
